Wellnaq User Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This User Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Wellnaq Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore ("Wellnaq", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal data of individuals ("Users", "you") who access or use the Wellnaq website, applications, dashboards, tools, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy.

2. Scope & Applicability

This Policy applies to:

  • Individual end users booking or engaging with wellness practitioners
  • Visitors browsing the Platform
  • Users accessing the Platform via organisational or promotional partnerships

This Policy does not apply to practitioners or organisations acting as channel partners, which are governed by separate privacy policies.

3. Personal Data We Collect

3.1 Data You Provide Directly

We may collect personal data that you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Full name, email address, phone number
  • Country of residence and preferred language
  • Account login credentials
  • Information submitted during booking or consultations
  • Health, wellness, or lifestyle information shared at your discretion

You acknowledge that any health-related data you submit is provided voluntarily and at your own risk.

3.2 Automatically Collected Data

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address, device identifiers, browser type
  • Operating system and usage logs
  • Date, time, and duration of platform activity

3.3 Payment Data

Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers. Wellnaq does not store full credit or debit card numbers.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

We process User data strictly for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing User accounts
  • Facilitating bookings, payments, refunds, and consultations
  • Enabling communication between Users and Practitioners within the Platform
  • Fraud prevention, security monitoring, and system integrity
  • Customer support, complaint handling, and dispute review
  • Legal, regulatory, audit, and compliance obligations

We do not use User data for purposes incompatible with those listed above.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

5.1 Sharing with Practitioners

User data is shared with Practitioners only to the extent reasonably necessary to deliver booked consultations.

Practitioners are contractually prohibited from:

  • Using User data for marketing or solicitation outside the Platform
  • Retaining User data beyond consultation requirements
  • Transferring User data to unauthorised third parties

5.2 Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers for:

  • Payment processing
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure
  • Analytics, security, and customer support

All service providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

5.3 Legal Disclosure

We may disclose User data where required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority.

6. International Data Transfers

You acknowledge and agree that Wellnaq shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or damages resulting from such incidents

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

  • Access to your personal data
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion or restriction of processing
